Tell us the story behind what you do—how did your journey begin, and what motivates you today?: My journey began with a deep curiosity about identity and human emotion. I started in acting and photography, but over time, sculpture became my authentic voice, where I could shape both silence and story into physical form. Much of my work reflects moments of vulnerability, connection, and transformation.During a period of stillness, I began sculpting with clay as a way to process my emotions. From that, The Ones series emerged—fragile forms that gained strength in bronze, embodying both the individual and the collective. What motivates me today is the dialogue between the artwork and the viewer. I’m inspired by how art can move people, evoke memory, and create connection without needing explanation. That silent resonance is why I create. |
How have your surroundings or lifestyle shaped your creative process, mindset, or brand ethos?: My surroundings and lifestyle are deeply intertwined with my creative process. I split my time between nature and the city, spaces that offer both stillness and intensity. That contrast fuels my work.Living with intention and reflection allows me to create from a place of honesty. My studio is a sanctuary where silence leads the way, giving form to what words can’t express.Whether I’m shaping clay or capturing an image, I’m drawn to themes of transformation, identity, and human connection. My brand ethos is rooted in authenticity: creating work that holds space for vulnerability, strength, and the unseen. |
What’s something about your work or approach that might surprise people?: What often surprises people is how intuitive and physical my process is. I don’t start with a clear plan, my hands lead before my mind does. Especially with sculpture, I work in silence, letting the material speak.Another unexpected element is the emotional depth behind the simplicity of the forms. What may appear minimal often carries layers of personal story, collective memory, and vulnerability.People sometimes think my work is meticulously pre-conceived, but in truth, it’s born from feeling, raw, present, and often unfiltered. |
What's currently inspiring you—whether it's a person, a place, a project, or something totally unexpected?: Lately, I’ve been deeply inspired by the contrast of fragility alongside strength, and silence amid chaos. Nature continues to be a grounding force, especially the stillness of early mornings and the rawness of coastal landscapes. The quiet resilience also inspires me in people, their unspoken stories, body language, and emotional layers.Currently, I’m exploring a new body of work that combines bronze with unexpected materials, allowing tension and harmony to coexist. That space between what’s seen and what’s felt, that’s where inspiration lives for me. |
What are your favorite rituals, spaces, or hidden spots that bring you joy or spark ideas?: One of my favourite rituals is starting the day in silence, with no phone or noise, just a moment to connect inward before stepping into the studio. That quiet sets the tone for everything I create. My studio itself is a sacred space where time seems to pause. It’s filled with natural light, raw materials, and the kind of stillness that invites ideas to surface.I also find inspiration in hidden corners of cities, abandoned buildings, textured walls, or forgotten objects. They hold stories, and I love giving them new life through my work. These moments and places ground me and open up space for creation. |
